Cloud computing technology operates by integrating a cluster of independent servers situated in different locations. The Navigator service provides multiple user-ids in a single access device, providing secure access to every user of the device. To ensure that all users do not access each other’s data, a designated ‘master user’ has the ability to decide the applications that can be accessed by other users, including the times at which they may do so. Internet access can be regulated through a blacklist of proscribed sites as well as a ‘whitelist’ of permitted sites. The master user however cannot access any other account’s data, ensuring complete confidentiality and privacy for every user on the system.
While you are online, Navigator continues its vigil. By activating its in-built pre-checks the system can be protected against harmful applications, ensuring that they cannot do any damage when they are run.
