" Novatium successfully rolled out with the operator, the Navigator service across India. This had resulted in a substantial subscriber base for Novatium and the operator in rural India."
Novatium Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a technology company initiated with the vision of providing effortless computing solutions to the next billion users. Since inception, we have been working towards this goal by creating solutions that make computing simple, accessible and offer great value for money.
Over the years Novatium has emerged as one of the leading providers of rich computing services with an innovative platform providing comprehensive, maintenance-free solutions for everyone. We were among the first in the world to design truly thin, smart devices capable of operating with any server platform - Windows, Linux or Solaris.
Novatium’s service portfolio has always attracted wide notice for its imaginative design philosophy, wide applicability and elegant user interface. In 2010, Ericsson, the international telecommunications giant, recognized the strategic synergy of partnering a creative content delivery company and entered into a collaborative agreement. Inspired by Ericsson’s vision of taking our services to telecom majors around the world, Novatium embarked on an expansion phase for refining and extending our range to meet the wider needs of an international audience.
Leveraging off the expertise of a strong team with a pool of skills in diverse Information Technology domains, Novatium has developed top-of-the-line research and deployment capabilities in core computing environments like Linux, testing, telecom, AV technology, system and network administration, programming and X windows.
The culmination of these in-house skill-sets is our breakthrough Desktop Utility Delivery Model (DUDM) technology which provides the core model for Novatium’s delivery architecture. Riding on this framework are Novatium Navigator and its predecessors, a unique product family that provides an integrated user front-end for all Novatium services, and facilitates access to a wide and rapidly expanding array of back-end applications. Going forward, Novatium plans to further deepen its extensive capabilities in device independent, cross-platform services and develop a portfolio of value-plus solutions that work seamlessly on Windows, Linux and Android systems across all delivery platforms – laptop, PC, Tablet and other emerging smart devices.
With our hands-on competencies in computing, telecommunications, product design and user understanding we continue to develop path-breaking technologies that help us realize our founding vision of simplifying computing for the world.
To reach the above mentioned vision, we are focusing on two aspects. These are the two adjectives, superior and convenient, in the above mentioned Mission. We are creating a solution that is predictive and suggestive and hence enables user to discover new areas and activities that interest him/her. It is proactive and thus ensures that the user can be kept away from the dangers that is usually associated with many of the existing computing solutions.
It is flexible to ensure that each user gets and tunes the solution to fit in with his/her needs. It is a secure solution with consideration given to the fact that different users have different level of security. Thus it is superior from many aspects. The convenience comes from the fact that most of the above mentioned aspects and many of the other basic aspects happen automatically and does not require human intervention, neither the end user nor the administrators.
The basic intent of our vision is to come up with a computing solution that can be used by the next billion. So what do we want to provide to the next billion users? A computing system that does not bring in the complexity of purchase and management. Thus make computing simple and affordable and in the process accessible to all people around the world.
The initial focus of the company is to make computing available in the developing worlds where such technology is usually inaccessible to people. In the process, we want to create a simple computing solution that can be used by not just the above mentioned users but by any user in any market.
